*The event has ended*  We are looking for two (2) categories of entries for the competition:
1) Posters from student led projects that have very little faculty involvement
2) Story Maps

*Posters from projects where the faculty member is highly involved will still be accepted for display.

We will have seven (7) winners:
Posters: 1st and 2nd place Undergraduate Poster, 1st and 2nd place Graduate Poster.
Story Maps: 1st and 2nd place
People's Choice Award as voted on by attendees

To participate in the GIS Day Student Competition, please
upload your poster or Story Map via Google Drive by November 8, 2024.

If you have trouble, email me your entries.

Posters: should be 40"  by 30"  and in TIFF format. Typically, posters are assembled in Microsoft PowerPoint and exported as a TIFF. We will print the posters and provide the poster boards for display.

Story Maps: submit a link

Standalone Maps: If you want to sumbit a map for display in our Map Gallery, please do so. Awards will not be given in this category this year.
